Getting Started
New to this? No problem. You'll have Claude AI guiding you the entire way.
Step 1: Install Cursor
Available for Mac and Windows. This is where you'll chat with Claude AI to build your site. VSCode with the Github CoPilot also works if you prefer. We recommend Claude AI as the AI model of choice.
Step 2: Download This Template
Click the green Code button at the top of this page, then click Download ZIP. Unzip the folder somewhere easy to find (like your Desktop).
Step 3: Open in Cursor
- Open Cursor
- Click File → Open Folder
- Select the unzipped
speedwellfolder - Click Open
Step 4: Ask Claude AI for Help
Press Cmd+L (Mac) or Ctrl+L (Windows) to open the chat panel. Now just ask:
I'm new to this. Help me get this website running on my computer.
Claude will walk you through everything, including installing any tools you need. Just follow along and ask questions whenever you're stuck.
Step 5: Start Building
